A Chef Start
Jim has always been passionate about food. From an early age, Jim learned the importance of using fresh, high-quality ingredients. After graduating from culinary school, Jim worked his way up the ranks in the restaurant industry, eventually becoming an executive chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island.
Jim’s favorite part of being a chef was always making his own spice blends in the restaurant. He loved the way they could transform the flavor of a dish. After years of working in the restaurant industry, he realized that he wanted to create his own line of spices.
The Beginning
In 1985 Spice Oasis was born! The business started in Jim’s kitchen blending and packing spices by hand. Spice Oasis’s reputation for quality and customer service was immediately realized by customer’s. Spice Oasis’s flavorful and quality blends became increasingly popular with restaurants leading to exponential growth.
The Oasis Today
Today, Spice Oasis is one of the premier spice blend manufacturers in the country. Spice Oasis’s commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients is one of the keys to its many years of success. Spice Oasis blends are flavorful and versatile.
